Simona currently drives for Andretti in the IndyCar Series as well. For the London races, she will be driving alongside Jean-Eric Vergne, who has been the team's most consistent driver this season.
That won't be the only change in store for the season closer, however, as the Amlin Aguri team is bringing in Sakon Yamamoto. The former F1 driver will be filling in for Antonio Felix da Costa, who won the Buenos Aires race earlier this year, but who'll be busy in DTM at the Norisring the same weekend as the Formula E races.
Yamamoto drove for the Super Aguri team in Formula One, as well as Spyker and HRT. Like de Silvestro, this won't be the first time he'll be climbing into the electric single-seater, having tested the car in Miami.

Leading female racer Simona de Silvestro will make her Formula E debut in the Visa London ePrix double header on June 27/28.
The Swiss IndyCar racer will drive for the Andretti Formula E team alongside Jean-Eric Vergne, and while it will be her first race in the all-electric championship, it won't be the first time she has driven the Spark-Renault SRT_01E as she performed a demonstration run in Geneva earlier this year.
De Silvestro will not be the only driver change for the season finale, as Amlin Aguri needs to hire a replacement for Antonio Felix da Costa who is on DTM duty that weekend, while there will also be a change at Trulli as Vitantonio Liuzzi also has clashing commitments.
Amlin Aguri picks Yamamoto for London
London|15 Jun 15
Ex-Formula 1 racer Sakon Yamamoto will drive for Amlin Aguri in the Formula E season finale in London on June 27/28.
The Japanese driver is standing in for Buenos Aires race winner Antonio Felix da Costa, who has a clashing DTM commitment for BMW at the Norisring that weekend.
Yamamoto, who raced for Super Aguri, Spyker and HRT in F1, has driven the Spark-Renault SRT_01E before. He tested the car at the Miami-Homestead track in the build up to the Miami ePrix as part of his current role as a TV analyst in Japan.
