To hype the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Monaco the BBC put together a flyover – or would that be drive-through? – video of an F1 driver's life from birth to The Principality, from the driver's point of view. In just 1:56, it's clear that an F1 driver's life is so much tougher than you could magine.

We've been watching the pinnacle of motorsport for 18 years and this is the most entertaining F1 promo we've ever seen. Scroll down to watch.

Very similar to those Nike soccer commercials from a few years ago.

I'm definitely sure Hamilton lives in a MUCH better house than that.

Hmm watching 18 years huh? Yet you can't get correct how long current drivers have been racing in the pinnacle of motorsport.

This is why, one should watch the BBC coverage of every bloody sport possible they can broadcast. Almost never disappointing films and shows. Wasn't this a month ago?

I actually prefer F1 on speed. I like my soccer in Spanish. And English "Football" is horrible so i watch American league. Not all of us prefer BBC So no. This is just a promo. Not the actual show.

It's not like you're going to get English football on BBC anyway, since they don't own the rights, and frankly, shows how much you know about football, since Spanish football is ****, and MLS is just where players from the English Premier League go out to pasture and to make TREMENDOUS BUCKS while they're winding down their careers! But keep up being an unknowledgeable asshat! You're doing a ******* sterling job! By the way, before anyone accuses me of being an English... I'm Irish. It actually hurts me to compliment the English. But I have to give credit where it's due, and point out blatant stupidity where IT'S due. And being Irish, all we're good at IS making potatoes squirt out of our arses and quoffing pints of stout, yes... before you all jump on that bandwagon, you bunch of shitehawks.

I might be alone in my thinking on this one, but I watched this and the whole time I was just thinking how shallow the life style is as presented in the ad. I love motor racing, but I dunno... I also like how they tried to make it look like these kids go into karting by delivering news papers. A majority of the kids at racing events are doing this on parents money or family names. Done rambling...
