I had a buddy in college who got so tired of tailgaters that he carved a middle finger out of plywood, wrapped it in Christmas lights, and stuck it in the rear window of his Volkswagen. When someone got too close on the interstate, he flipped a button, and the wooden bird illuminated, letting people know exactly how he felt.

Enterprising motorist Gandeep Singh took that idea to the next level, applying some creative thinking, and installing a 40"x16" led crawler in his rear window to give his road rage a serious edge.

Unfortunately, it looks as if most of Singh's programmed messages are G-rated, but he's apparently working on a Bluetooth cellphone hookup, so you can update your crawler in real time. Follow the jump to watch video of it in use.

if your on a highway and driving get over to the slower lane and let the faster driver pass you. soves a lot of problems.

In Colorado there is a law for drivers to keep to the right except to pass. There are numerous signs posted on well traveled freeways reminding people to do this. Yet time after time I see some idiot camped out in the left lane with one, sometimes two, open lanes on the right. What the hell is wrong with these people? Oh, silly me. I thought you had to be literate and have an I.Q. in the double digits to get a driver's license...

to be honest, this wouldn't need to be invented if people stayed on the slow lane unless they were overtaking in all multi-lane roads. Can the traffic authorities please do something about that first?

Holy cow I've been looking for somthing like this for the longest time!! top 3 things to put on my marquis: 1. Stop texting and drive!!! 2. Where the F is your turn signal!! 3. The left lane is for passing not sleeping!!!

I could use one of those up front too! I see this two ways. I hate when people tailgate in traffic, as riding my a$$ isn't going to make the people in front of me go any faster. On the other hand....if I'm in the fast lane and I come up on a slow car with nobody in front of them, they better move over or I will ride your a$$ until you figure it out.

If someone cuts in front of me without even bothering to signal, I try to pull up next to them at the next light, get them to roll down their window and tell them their turn signal seems to be broken. It's amazing how many of them look at their dashboard to see if their (unused) turn signal is on. I always wonder if they get it or not.

Many people do not have the courtesy to move or signal their intentions. The light is a good idea. Of course the person has to be able to read which, I am afraid, is not the case in many instances that I have noticed.

Trying to control traffic that way could just be another cause of road rage. Perhaps you are driving too slow for the flow of traffic in your lane (i.e. the "fast lane") The right thing to do is move over and let them pass. Then you can move back over if you need to or just stay in the slower moving lanes. Thats usually what I do and its much less stressful. That is also suggested in the DMV handbook.

Way to much distraction for driver behind them.

I'd like to add: "Turn on your lights!" & "Get off your cell phone!"
