The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien welcomes 2010 Taurus SHO tonight!

Conan's SHO has appeared on his... uh, show... a number of times in the past, though the most memorable cameo was this skit back in the Late Night with Conan O'Brien days. More recently, the SHO appeared on Conan's first episode hosting The Tonight Show, having made its way with the comic from New York to LA for the new gig.
As we all know, the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO is here and trying hard to revive the same excitement that the original used to snare such high profile owners as Conan O'Brien (and myself). So, of course we've been wondering when Conan's going to drop some coin on a 2010 SHO to replace the old one. While we don't know if he's actually going to buy one, we do have confirmation from Ford that the 2010 Taurus SHO will appear in a skit on The Tonight Show this evening with Conan. So set your DVRs to 11:30PM EST on NBC, and if that doesn't work, check back here tomorrow for a clip of the skit.

Excellent. I still miss my old '91 "minus" model...and my 90...and my other 90.

I agree.
Conan was never funny. I used to watch Jay's tonight show all the time and I always knew, someday he had to be replaced, but to replace him with Conan is an insult. Conan IS NOT FUNNY. Sometimes his show has been funny with the talking heads but its really dull humor that isn't even on par with Aqua teen Hunger Force.
The SHO isn't even as great as they make it out to be either. The interior is less spacious than the size of the car would have you believe and for the cost of one, all you're really getting is a boat on wheels with the view out the window set on Fast Forward.

Must be a generational thing. I think Conan is hilarious, and that Leno / Letterman are generally lame. I know a lot of people think Conan is too weird to be in the Tonight Show slot, but most of them don't stay up past 9pm anyways.

I thought Jay Leno didn't like Ferrari's. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have one. I know that when he tried to buy one the dealership tried to charge him way more than they should have.
When you go to his website and search "Ferrari" nothing about a Ferrari comes up.

That was my first thought as well. What did the blogger use as a reference? I have never seen a Ferrari in Leno's collection. Just another one of the things that make his collection unique.

I might be mistaken but I think Leno doesn't own any Ferrari. For some reason he doesn't like them. He owns a few lambos, porsche, a mclaren... but to the best of my knowledge and from his site at www.jaylenosgarage.com there is no ferrari in his current collection.

For some reason I see a drag race between the two and Conan losing in a cloud of smoke. Add in some hilarity before and after and wham decent skit. Like to see Ford persuing advertising outside the normal channels if you will.

Jay doesn't own a Ferrari. Nor has he in the past. Lamborghinis, Bugattis, maybe a few other Italians, but not a Ferrari.

I'm guessing the publicity Ford gets from this earns Conan a free one. Leno got the Ford GT so I don't think he's too interested.

I thought there was rumors of Conan dropping his Taurus since he moved to LA in favor for a new Acura TL. I remember seeing that car in a few of the episodes.

Matt, do you really think anyone will take your advice when it pertains to anything made by FoMoCo? I think your prejudice towards the Ford brand is already properly established.
