Knight Rider premiering online Sept. 17th, a week before broadcast
Hey kids, don't forget: the new, not-at-all-improved Knight Rider becomes a weekly series on Wednesday, September 24th. As was the case during the pilot that aired back in February, I'll be on my couch with my laptop, liveblogging the proceedings and adding much-needed "perspective" each week, right until the show's cancellation. Maybe you couldn't care less about the liveblog, though. Or maybe you're just a glutton for punishment. If that's the case, you're in luck -- the Peacock is posting the season premiere online at NBC.com and Hulu.com on September 17, a week before the network broadcast. I'm gonna pass on the sneak peek, because I don't want want to taint my initial reaction to KITT's new Attack Mode (above). That, I'm saving for you guys. Mark your calendars. In the meantime, I'll watch this again instead.

This is a perfectly good example of marketing killing a show. I'm a Ford can and a Knight Rider fan, but a Mustang should have been KITT.
KITT was about stealthy futuristic technology, not a car that looks like it was designed for Battlestar Galactica or Death Race.

Exactly, KITT was about being modern and futuristic at the same time. Now, with all the respect, but Mustang is neither. And as KITT, it's just plain pathetic.

Oh... Yeah !!! Knight Rider i Can't Wait Til Sept. 17th Its Going to be Kickass ive been watching the Move on my DVR at least once a week since Feb. Oh... and that Shelby GT500KR K.I.T.T is Sexy... as Hell !!!!

I dont understand why they're gonna show it a week early online. If it's as bad as that crap a few months ago then the bloggers will kill this before it comes out on TV.
Are they trying to generate buzz or something? I guess I just see this failing horribly.

I wasnt gonna waste my time on this .... but let the ford bashing begin ... no just kidding ... I just wanna say that i grew up watching night rider and I really dont think it was the great acting that made me watch it ... it was K.I.T.T. the car was a Firebird / Trans Am not very normal looking (black on black) and it wasnt one of the more common cars on the road at the time. just like the A-Team van was a Chevy / GMC Both appealed to me because they looked very menacing, intimidating and dark. I dont think this junkstang fits that mold, it dont have a futuristic look to it either ... unless they seen the movie where they put K.I.T.T. in a 50 somthing Chevy then it looks a little more futuristic. But this is a big let down for me ... I think they should have made a "one off" car or used one of these corvette, viper, eclipse, 350z, RX8, at least something that looks futuristic and isnt so common on the streets. I see junkstangs left and right "just my two cents" I know I wont watch it ... I sat through about 20 mins of the movie and said to my buddy WTF
