eBay Find of the Day: Indiana Jones Nazi military Mercedes [w/VIDEO]

Some movie critics said that Harrison Ford was too old to star in another Indiana Jones film, but the entertaining movie grossed $125m in its first weekend. With cars, well conditioned collectibles can fetch big dollars too. The 1937 Mercedes 300c from Raiders of the Lost Ark is up for bidding on eBay, and the starting price is a jaw-dropping $2.5m.
The mint-conditioned Mercedes convertible reportedly only has 600 miles on the odometer, and perhaps more importantly the vehicle's owner has proof the German classic was in the movie. The classic Benz's memorable scene came during one of films more exciting and unbelievable chase scenes, where it served as the ride of choice for the Nazi regime. The car, which sat untouched in a private collection for over 26 years, was also the featured guest at the 1982 Harbour, FL D'Elegance, and both the sheet metal and interior look spectacular. Click on the gallery below for more pics of this well cared for movie star, and you can also check out the actual chase scene from Raiders by hitting the jump. Happy bidding! Thanks for the tip, Tyler!

I've actually seen a similar car in Maine at a vintage auto show. The car looks real mean, though beautiful at the same time.

As long as there's no Nazi face-meltings splattered on it, it's all good.

Worth clicking through just to watch the clip. After watching the new movie (Biggest mistake on a movie ticket purchase...ever) I had forgotten how good the originals were.

I hought the new one wasn't all that bad. I'd go as far as saying I liked it. It was ridiculous and all, but c'mon it's Harrison Ford.

And a brick behind the front wheel to keep it from rolling away? C'mon - fix the parking brake before asking big money...

It's authentic TO THE MOVIE. Maybe the e-brake was broken then too. The dents were there from the truck hitting it.
And c'mon, there a used cigarette butt in the ashtray!!! OMG!
