Shanghai Motor Show: Girls of Shanghai Gallery

Whether it's the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the Mondial de l'Automobile in Paris, or the Shanghai Motor Show in China, one thing remains constant: models standing next to cars. We've had a lot of discussions lately about why models are still used at auto shows in this enlightened age, and our best answer is that automakers want the public to feel like they would look this good standing next to a Buick, BMW or Geely automobile. Clearly, this strategy is not lost on the many Chinese automakers at the 2007 Shanghai Auto Show. Our colleague from Autoblog Chinese kept his camera snapping a couple extra frames at each display so he could assemble this Girls of Shanghai Gallery for us, so we hope you enjoy. It's interesting to note the mix of western and Asian models hired for this show, as well.

Most of the comments are probley from guys in the U.S or britain that have never been to asia i would guess as these girls are cute but nothing near to what i would class as hot. In my opinion the vast majority of chinese considering the size are below attractivness compaired to the rest of the world. possibly due to harsher living conditions and lower grooming.

I agree with #1 .I was in Shanghai for 3 weeks and the girls are really awesome.Beautiful ,sexy girl + any car (even chinese) will always work for guys anywhere in the world.

LMAO, I totally agree with number 9...girls from mainland China aren't really what I would call "hot". Only a couple of them were cute. But I guess some of you are the kind that go for anything Asian (even if it means below average)...

That's fine, it's called different tastes not low standards (and if your standard is based on where the girl is from, I'd say you have shallow standards, but that's me).

#15 LMAO Your argument might work if I wasn't Chinese. The funny thing is my gf (who is also Chinese BTW) has the same opinion that I have. We've been to China and the majority are just not good looking at all and most of the girls in this post are pretty average. I just find it funny that some of you are drooling...this is the only one I think is truly hot.
