The above headline isn’t a biased opinion, it comes straight from Ford’s sales figures. While the car numbers tanked
in September waiting for fresh blood, truck sales were up a staggering amount. Ford sold 99,720 F-series trucks, that
includes the all-new F-150, in September, a 22 percent increase from last year. That number is pretty much the only
thing keeping Ford from certain doom. Ford sales overall for September were 282,656. That includes all cars and trucks
from Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, Jaguar, Volvo and Land Rover. Why is that blowing my mind? Because, according to my
rudimentary math skills, the F-series accounted for over one third of their total sales. Amazing. In the same release
we see Jaguar tanking completely and Volvo selling a lot of the new S40s while the rest of the family eagerly awaits
new models to boost the line-up.
When it comes to trucks none greater than Ford F-Series
