What's Safest? Mazda's RX-8

“But honey it’s the safest car out there,” will be the new reasoning from aging guys across the country as they bring up the latest findings by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The RX-8 was the only vehicle to earn 5 stars in the group’s new rollover test. There are lots of other reasons to buy an RX-8 but this might be the only one that seems sensible. What else is safest? The Toyota Solara Coupe and Chevy Equinox SUV were the only vehicles to receive 5-stars in all four front and side-impact crash tests.
