Dubbed Xplod receivers, Sony?s introduction follows moves by several OEMs, including Volkswagen and MINI, to make
their cars compatible with newer technology. The models go for about $100 and are finished in black metallic with blue
13-segment LCD display. The models also have a built-in 208 watt amplifier and three-band equalizer.
