The Customer’s Always Right

It’s impossible to please everyone, but it’s at least feasible to ensure that your clients are mostly happy. Customer experience is everything to a brand’s success in terms of sales and longevity, which is why all aspects of the customer journey are constantly being assessed and improved upon.

Ram is a brand that apparently takes its customer feedback seriously by providing top-notch products. This, in turn, has given Ram a very notable win in a recently concluded study.

Ram 1500 Makes Owners Happy

Stellantis is proud to announce that the Ram 1500 claimed the top spot in JD Power’s 2026 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study, specifically for the light-duty pickup segment. According to the brand, the Ram 1500 scored highest in terms of capability, comfort, technology, and performance.

The JD Power APEAL study goes beyond traditional parameters for measuring vehicle quality by how owners actually feel about their vehicles in the first 90 days of ownership. The study itself highlights 37 specific areas of measurement that they ask owners about. Some of these attributes deal with comfort and technology, design, and response and exhilaration while driving. Furthermore, JD Power actually examines the experiences that create the emotional connection and excitement among new owners.

Knowing What’s Best

According to Tim Kuniskis, head of American brands and North America marketing, Stellantis North America, “The Ram 1500’s No. 1 finish comes straight from the people who know our trucks best — our customers.” He goes on to say that these customers know what they want from a truck and when the car delivers on those promises.

This bodes well for the Ram brand, which has been the leading marque for the whole Stellantis group in the U.S., not to mention that a lot is at stake for the reintroduction of the Rumble Bee performance models.
