This is another car, like the Volvo S60 R, that struck
me at the show. But unlike the Volvo, it’s not a production car but it could be. What Mitsubishi has here is a real
competitor for the likes of Nissan’s Altima SER and Pontiac’s Grand Prix GTP, and reminds me of both vehicles in its
looks. The Ralliart debuted at last year’s SEMA Show, but this was the first time I saw it in person. The package adds
the 3.8-liter V-6 and six-speed trans in a be-cladded and beefed up Gallant. The Ralliart concept also adds an
aftermarket exhaust, cold air intake system and a coilover springs suspension. Mitsubishi needs to bring the Ralliart
packages to street, it would really help the flagging image.
