Man gets his Corvette back after it was stolen 37 years ago

It might not end up on the TV showCold Case, but it’s pretty darn impressive nonetheless. 37 years ago, New York City resident Alan Poster parked his car in a parking garage, not realizing that it would be the last time he would ever see his beloved car for almost four decades. Poster reported the vehicle missing and, when nothing came of his report, got on with his life.

It
might not end up on the TV show Cold Case, but it’s pretty darn impressive nonetheless. 37 years ago, New York
City resident Alan Poster parked his car in a parking garage, not realizing that it would be the last time he would ever
see his beloved car for almost four decades. Poster reported the vehicle missing and, when nothing came of
his report, got on with his life.

37 years later, the vehicle was found in a shipping container headed to Sweden from Long Beach, NY. Officials
checking up on the vehicle found that it had been reported stolen in 1969, and did some pretty impressive detective
work to track Poster down to give this story a happy ending. Check out the link for more details.
