Ford sees sales slip in September despite push

Ford’s car and trucks sales were down 7 percent in September compared to the same month last year, despite a last ditch effort, to mirror one by GM, to boost sales. The news was especially bad for the car division. Ford, Lincoln & Mercury cars saw a drop of almost 22 percent. That stings. Of course the real test for Ford will be after new cars like the Five Hundred and Mustang launch this month. Their line-up of cars was badly aging and the new blood should help the wounds.
