One astute Autoblog reader came across the story on John Coletti
leaving Ford SVT over at The Detroit News
website and found something more interesting than the basic corporate reshuffling. It seems in the image of Phil
Martens, Ford VP of product creation, there is a new Mustang with a hoodscoop on it. Our insider suggested Mach 1? I’m
not sure but it does look odd. To me it looks like raw metal bolted/riveted into place. Maybe to test a larger engine?
