Brabus Highlights

Brabus, the renowned Mercedes tuner, showed up with a contingent of vehicles. We chose to highlight them because of
the range of their offerings. First of all, they offer a fourtwo smart cabrio known as the Ultimate 101. 101 stands for
the number of horses this micro car is endowed with. The Ultimate 101 has the usual tuner treatment, but the 8″ wide
rear wheels on it are just nuts. Also, the 0-62 mph numbers don’t add up, with the smart hitting the magic number in
11.2 seconds. Perhaps it’s geared wrong. The Ultimate retails for 39,900 euro or about $49,000. On the other end of the
spectrum is the Maybach with the Brabus touch. Brabus installs their 730 hp SV 12 S Biturbo engine in the exclusive
luxury machine to produce a chauffeured 0-62 in 4.5 seconds. There is no mention of price in any press material, so I
guess we shouldn’t ask.
