The VW ID. Buzz is cheerful, roomy, and it looks like nothing else on the road. Here’s a closer look at every angle.

1

The ID. Buzz draws directly from the classic Microbus with a V-shaped hood, oversized VW logos front and rear, expansive greenhouse windows, and D-pillar-mounted air vents that echo the original Bus’s rear-engine cooling slots.

2

The front logo is illuminated and links up to the LED headlights. While the front fascia is rounded, the rest of the van is boxy and uncluttered.

The 2025 ID. Buzz measures 195.4 inches in length, nearly 10 inches longer than the two-row model sold in Europe, wheelbase stretched, overhangs kept short.

All ID. Buzz models roll on 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels. Volkswagen Exterior colors range from single-tone options to two-tone pairings: a Candy White top over Energetic Orange, Pomelo Yellow, Cabana Blue, Mahi Green, or Indium Grey, among others.

At the rear, a power tailgate with Easy Open and Close comes standard, with a foot-activated open/close function.

Three interior “color worlds” are carefully curated to complement the exterior colors: Moonlight (dark brown leatherette with white piping and blue door inserts), Dune (light grey leatherette with clay-colored piping and a light wood dash), and Copper (rich brown leatherette with yellow piping and a washed wood-look dash).

The dashboard features a 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.9-inch central infotainment display, and a 30-color ambient lighting system.

Power comes from a 91 kWh battery with 282 horsepower in rear-wheel drive form, or 335 horsepower with the 4Motion all-wheel drive setup. Volkswagen RWD models deliver an EPA-estimated 234 miles of range; AWD models return 231 miles.
