Images of the second generation Volvo C70 convertible with retractable hardtop have just been released. The car will
seat four people with the top both up and down, although I noticed the word “comfortably” was not used in the press
release to describe the condition in which the occupants would be seated. A pic of four people riding with the top down
is present, and it looks like the person riding shotgun has the seat moved pretty far forward. Anyway, I will say the
car looks good wearing the signature broad shoulder look of all current Volvos. It’s loaded with an arsenal of safety
features and powered by a 2.5L turbo inline-five cylinder making 218 hp/236 lb-ft of torque.
