One third of all toll roads in the country have seen their fees
raise over the past year through the end of next month. One third? Wow. That makes daily commuting even more expensive
with the price of gasoline expected to rise even higher this summer. And to add insult these fee hikes aren’t minimal.
Some are as high as 56 percent (thanks Illinois Tollway!). I was shocked this weekend having to prepare for a trip on
the tollway and digging out three quarters and a nickel each way!
