Pontiac swears it's not the Aztec

Offering a glimpse at the new mid-size Torrent SUV with a sketch, Pontiac tries to keep the buzz going. The Torrent will be built on the Theta platform, the basis of both the Saturn VUE and Chevrolet Equinox.  An official unveiling of the V-6 crossover will come at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January of 2005. I’m disappointed that it is more badge-engineering from GM, judging by the sketch this is just a nose job to the Equinox. Detroit News has the sketch scoop.
