The next generation Opel Meriva made its debut at the Bologna Motor Show last week. The General Motors minivan
(shown with GM Europe President Carl-Peter Forster) has been refreshed with a new front and rear; new, more powerful
engines; and new technologies such adaptive curve-following headlights, a first for its class.
And in February 2006, the new, high-performance Meriva OPC will become available. The sporty vehicle will be equipped
with a newly-developed 180 hp 1.6-liter turbo engine.
