There’s not really any new information to report on Subaru’s second Saab collaboration, other than that the vehicle
has been consumer tested in SoCal with positive results. The name “Tribeca” is not official yet, but it has already
been registered by Subaru; “Halifax” is another appellation rumored to be under consideration. The
luxury-crossover will have a base price in the low to mid- $30,000s, and use Subaru’s 3.0 liter H6 boxer engine,
currently seen under the new Outback’s bonnet. The Tribeca will be the first Suby to use the new highly-stylized and
swoopy grill, unveiled initially on the B9SC Roadster Concept.
