An off-duty cop called in for backup when he saw a reptilian nose sticking out of the window of a black BMW driving on the Schuykill Expressway in Philly yesterday. Danya Johnson was cited for having an exotic animal within city limits. The alligator, named Petey, was put in the custody of the Philly Animal Care and Control Association. Petey joins an emu cruising down Roosevelt Blvd and a Bengal tiger relaxing in a rowhouse in the history of weird wild animals kept in big cities. [ViaFark]
