A few weeks ago, Greenpeace protesters broke into a Land Rover assembly plant, stopped the line and chained
themselves to several vehicles. More protests happened over the weekend in England when 1000 people hung signs at seven
dealerships, attached wheelclamps to vehicles and handcuffed themselves to steering wheels to bring attention to Land
Rover’s SUV line. I understand the concern over the environment, but can’t understand how chaining yourself to a truck
is going to change someone’s mind. These stunts make me pay less attention to what the group stands for.
