DaimlerChrysler is categorically denying a report by Focus magazine that it has designs on unloading its truck
division. Calling it “speculation that lacks any foundation,” company spokesman Thomas Froehlich noted that
the company’s commercial vehicle division is an “integrated” part of DCX.

Focus recently reported that
the automaker has been entertaining the idea of selling the unit and moving van production from the company’s truck unit
to its car-side of the operation.
