Cadillac SRX Nudges BMW X5 for Best Lux SUV

In a recent V-8 luxury SUV comparo from Edmunds.com, newcomer SRX edged out the perennial winner, the X5.  The Caddy came out on top due to “well-rounded performance and value proposition”.  Here’s a quick rundown of how they ranked: 5. Mercedes ML500 – showing its age, 4. Lincoln Aviator – Best of the body-on-frame crowd, 3. Infiniti FX45 – Good on-road performance, cheapo interior, 2. BMW X5 – Overall a great ride, but missing some standard items for the high price (DVD, CD changer, third row), 1. Cadillac SRX.  This is a pretty thorough test worth taking a gander at.
