The bigger the yard, the more stuff there seems to be that needs somewhere to go. A push mower, a couple of electric bikes, ladders, tools, and a stack of patio furniture can fill up a garage surprisingly fast. Throw in the things you need for winter, like snow shovels and bags of salt, and finding room to park the car becomes a project of its own. A larger outdoor storage shed can take a lot of that clutter off your hands, especially if you’re trying to get everything put away before the first snowfall of the year.

Right now, the Yodolla 10-Foot by 14-Foot Outdoor Storage Shed is on sale at Walmart for $440, more than $300 off its normal price. That’s a substantial markdown for a metal shed with roughly 140 square feet of storage space. The overall dimensions come in at 113 inches wide, 163 inches deep, and 78 inches tall, with double sliding doors that make it easier to move bulky equipment in and out. There’s enough room for several bikes, lawn equipment, storage bins, tools, and quite a bit of other gear, depending on how you arrange everything.

The shed uses thickened galvanized steel panels, along with a reinforced frame and sloped roof to help rain drain off instead of collecting overhead. Air vents allow some circulation when everything’s closed up, and plastic caps cover sharp edges around the structure. One nice difference from some of the cheaper sheds on the market is the integrated locking system, which comes with keys rather than making you buy a separate padlock. The kit also includes assembly hardware, a pair of gloves, and online installation videos.

For $440, it’s a lot of shed for the money, although you’ll want to plan out the location and prepare a sturdy, level base before putting it together.

One shopper said, “I am using this shed to store shovels, rakes, and the things I need out of the shop. It’s going to be perfect for that.”

“It went together easily and looks great,” commented a second buyer.
