It isn’t always easy to see everything under the hood of a car, even when you’re doing it in a professional setting, such as in the shop or at an auto dealership. It can get infinitely more difficult when you’re scoping out a vehicle in your garage or, worse, in your driveway or a parking lot long after the sun has gone down.
You might be under the impression that splurging on a fancy cordless hood light is the only solution. However, you can get around this by picking up a pair of work lights on sale for over 40% off at Amazon right now. The Yiamia LED Magnetic Work Lights usually retail for $40, but they’re currently on sale for only $23.

Each of the rechargeable LED work lights included in this pack offers seven distinct lighting modes. The option you will likely use most while working on cars is the powerful LED flashlight setting, but it also provides high and low brightness, as well as flashing, chip-on-board (COB), and red LED steady or flashing light settings. Regardless of which one you choose, you can benefit greatly from the bright light that these lights can offer, as they boast a maximum output of up to 1,000 lumens.
This is just the beginning when it comes to these work lights’ features. In addition to providing you with more than enough bright light, they have 360-degree swiveling stands and 270-degree magnetic attachments, enabling you to strategically position them to maximize light output. They’re also constructed from ABS and aluminum alloy, making them waterproof, dustproof, and significantly more durable than they would be otherwise. Plus, they double as power banks thanks to their 2200 mAh batteries, offering added convenience whether you use them at home or at work.
“These lights are sturdy and have super bright LEDs,” one reviewer wrote. “They can also stand on their own and are magnetic, so you can stick them to metal and use both hands while working.”
“I work as a mobile technician, and battery-operated lights are basically a necessity,” another reviewer added. “The cost of these alone made them worth a try. They offer great versatility and great light output.”
The Yiamia LED Magnetic Work Lights are 43% off at Walmart. Get your hands on a pair today, and stop struggling to see as you work on cars.
