A basic tool set is one of those things that’s useful whether you’re a regular DIYer or just want to be ready for everyday tasks around the house. Hanging pictures, tightening loose hardware, assembling furniture, opening packages, measuring spaces, adjusting brackets, fixing small appliances, and handling random projects all get easier when the essentials are in one place. Comprehensive tool kits are also a smart starter kit for apartments, dorms, first homes, garages, or anyone who wants a simple grab-and-go set.

With this flash deal we found at Walmart, the Workpro 103-Piece Tool Set is on sale for just $31, more than half-off its usual $70 price. The kit includes a slip joint plier, long nose plier, adjustable wrench, precision screwdrivers, magnetic screwdriver bit holder, 40 screwdriver bits, torpedo level, 16-ounce fiberglass claw hammer, 16-foot tape measure, utility knife, 10 utility knife blades, 40 cable ties, and a round storage pouch. That’s a useful mix for household maintenance, DIY projects, repairs, and daily use.

Workpro says the tools are made from drop-forged steel with a chrome-plated finish to help resist corrosion. The tools also meet or exceed ANSI specifications, and the soft-grip handles are designed for more comfortable, secure use. The pink color also makes the tools easier to spot in a drawer or pouch compared to the other standard tool colors. For $31, this is a practical, affordable household tool kit with enough variety to cover a lot of common jobs.

“Practical yet chic,” said one buyer. “It has everything needed to get basic projects around the house done.”

A second shopper commented, “It might be pink, but it’s just as tough as any other color. We’ve been doing some home renovations, and this tool kit has served me perfectly! I’ve used it for drywall nails, tightening some screws, and more.”
