Pulling a snow blower out of your garage or shed to clear your driveway and sidewalks every time it snows isn’t always easy. Some snow blowers, especially gas-powered ones, can weigh up to 100 pounds, if not more. That weight can strain your back or cause another injury before you even remove a single snowflake from your property.
For this reason, you might want to save your snow blower for only the heaviest winter storms and rely on a cordless snow shovel instead for smaller ones. The Vasg 21V Cordless Snow Shovel can easily clear a few inches of snow from driveways, walkways, and other surfaces, and it’s currently on sale for $108, down from $200, as part of a Walmart flash deal.
The first thing you’ll notice about this cordless snow shovel when you pick it up is how lightweight it is. It weighs just under 8 pounds, so you shouldn’t have trouble carrying it around. But despite its size, this shovel can still clear snow quickly, carving 12-inch paths through snow up to 6 inches deep with a 90-degree chute to angle it in your preferred direction.
Another nice thing about this snow shovel is that it runs on a pair of 21V 3Ah batteries that offer over 30 minutes of runtime, so you won’t have to drag cords behind you. It also features an adjustable handle that you can rotate 360 degrees, keeping you more comfortable and reducing the injury risks associated with snow removal.
“It’s surprisingly powerful and very well-built,” one reviewer wrote. “I’m genuinely impressed with its build quality, and it has some serious speed and torque, which was more than I expected from a compact electric snow shovel.”
A second reviewer agreed, adding, “It’s a powerful snow shovel that can save your back this winter. It’s a well-designed machine made with high-quality materials at a price point that won’t break the bank.”
