Did you know that almost one-third of American adults admit to being scared of the dark? In fact, a 2025 survey revealed that nearly one-fourth of adults sleep with at least one light on at night to combat this fear. Not surprisingly, many people also report not leaving their homes at night to tackle tasks like taking out the trash because of the darkness that awaits them.
Hanging up a pair of the Tecknet Outdoor Solar Lights could be the key to making everyone in your house feel more comfortable when heading outside after the sun has gone down. The lights aren’t very big — they measure just 6.8 inches long, 3.7 inches wide, and 5.6 inches tall — but they’re plenty bright enough to illuminate your home’s exterior. They’re also on sale for almost 80% at Walmart right now. They normally sell for $100, but you can pick them up for only $23.
77% OffEach of these lights contains 231 LEDs, allowing them to deliver up to 2,500 lumens. They also offer three smart lighting modes and cast a much wider net than most other outdoor solar lights, thanks to their 300-degree wide-angle design. Plus, they’re outfitted with motion-detecting sensors that can spot movement from people, animals, and vehicles up to 17 feet away.
Additionally, these lights feature high-efficiency solar panels that can provide up to 12 hours of power at night when placed in direct sunlight during the day. They also have durable, waterproof constructions that can help them last for years, and they’re incredibly easy to install from the start, regardless of whether you wish to hang them on the side of your house, a shed, a fence, or somewhere else.
“I absolutely love these little lights,” one reviewer wrote. “They’re perfect for small, dark areas, like my porch, at night.”
“They’re way smaller than you would expect, but they’re brighter than the sun!” another reviewer wrote.
