A large metal carport can do a lot more than keep one vehicle out of the rain. With a 12-foot by 25-foot footprint, this setup we found on sale at Walmart gives you room to store a car, truck, SUV, boat, trailer, lawn equipment, outdoor tools, or multiple smaller vehicles. A big metal carport can also create a covered work area for wrenching, detailing, loading gear, organizing equipment, or getting some shade when the summer heat makes working outside miserable.
The Sylveria 12-Foot by 25-Foot Metal Carport is on sale for $800, a massive 43% discount off its typical $1,400 price. That’s still a serious purchase, but it’s a big discount on a much larger structure than a basic pop-up canopy. The open-sided design makes it easy to pull vehicles in and out, move around a project, or park equipment underneath without dealing with doors or tight side walls.
The carport has a reinforced gable roof with extended eaves to help with rain drainage, along with a galvanized steel roof and powder-coated steel frame for all-season use. The roof is designed to shed snow and reduce water buildup, while corrosion-resistant materials help protect vehicles, boats, tools, and equipment from the elements. Reinforced ground anchors and side rods add stability, while rubber edge guards help prevent scratches during regular use.
It also has pre-drilled and labeled parts, with the listing saying three adults can assemble it in about two hours using the included gloves and instruction manual. For vehicle storage, covered repair space, equipment protection, or a large shaded area in the driveway or yard, this is a nice outdoor upgrade with a lot of room to work.
“The quality is really solid, said one happy buyer. “No worries about wind or rain blowing it away.”
