Your lawn mower isn’t always the biggest problem when it comes to garage clutter. Sometimes it’s the collection of shovels, rakes, tools, spare flowerpots, and trash cans that never seem to have a proper spot. With winter getting closer, there’s even more reason to get those things put away before the weather gets nasty. A small outdoor metal shed can handle quite a bit of that overflow, and you don’t need a huge backyard to make room for one.
As one of the best prices we’ve seen at Walmart, the Sobaniilo 5-Foot by 3-Foot Outdoor Storage Shed is on sale for $100, down from its usual $127 price. That’s not a massive discount, but getting a walk-in metal shed for a hundred bucks is pretty appealing. It measures 59.1 inches long, 35.4 inches wide, and 71.3 inches high, giving you nearly 6 feet of height for storing long-handled tools, smaller lawn equipment, garden supplies, and other things you’d rather not leave outside. The compact footprint also makes it easier to fit along the side of a garage or in a smaller yard.
Pros
- Compact 5-foot by 3-foot footprint works well in smaller yards
- Nearly 6 feet tall for storing rakes, shovels, and other long-handled tools
- Coated steel panels with reinforced ribs add durability
- Sloped roof helps prevent rainwater from pooling
Cons
- Limited floor space for larger mowers or bulky equipment
- Metal construction can get hot inside during summer
- No flooring or foundation is included
This shed uses coated steel panels with reinforced ribs, and the sloped roof helps keep rainwater from sitting on top. The door is designed to accept a padlock for securing whatever you store inside, and protective edge covers are included to help prevent cuts from exposed metal. You also get the assembly hardware and two pairs of gloves in the box. It’s a fairly basic shed, but for $100, it’s a heck of a deal. You get somewhere to stash your yard equipment without spending several hundred dollars or giving up much outdoor space.
“It’s easy to put together and looks good,” said one happy buyer.
A second shopper commented, “This is the perfect size for storage for your summer or winter needs.”
