Solar lights are as close to a miracle product as there is for the backyard, a simple-to-install, set-it-and-forget it way to light up even the most remote corners without having to run wire or pay more in electricity costs. Anyone who’d like a better-lit outdoor space for reasons of security and/or entertainment should get some, and they should strongly consider the half-dozen solar lights that are currently on sale at Amazon with a big discount.
A six-pack of the Peasur Solar Lights is on sale for $21 at Amazon, 30% off its normal $30 price tag. This deal is good on the black-framed lights, the only color option on sale, and brings their unit cost to $3.50 instead of $5. These lights are also available in other quantities, from singles to 24-packs, but this is the best price available for any of them right now.
Audience FavoriteEach of these lights has a high-efficiency solar panel angled upwards, a 140-LED panel titled down, and a motion detector roughly in the middle of the two. This design makes these lights ideal for use as fence lights or mounted higher up on walls or posts above larger spaces you’d like to illuminate. The motion detector is a passive infrared sensor with a 4-5 meter detection distance and 120-degree detection angle. When activated, it can change the light from low to high brightness or off to on, depending on the mode you select. A third option, constantly on when it’s dark out and off when it’s light out, is also available. The self-contained design is inherently sturdy, as is the high-quality ABS plastic and IP65 waterproofing that means you don’t have to worry about these lights even in extreme weather.
One shopper wrote that these lights “are great to have everywhere when you live in the country” because they “power up in the sun and light up at night.” They added that these lights “put out a good amount of light,” and have proven quite durable.
Another customer wrote that these lights are “well-made and lit up a good-sized area of my backyard.” They “fully charged in full sun quickly” after an “easy and quick” installation process on the side of their house. They offer “great value for the price.”
