Putting a multitool into your back pocket at the start of every day can make your life so much easier overall. From tightening loose screws to slicing open packages, you can use a multitool to tackle so many daily tasks. The only challenge: Choosing which multitool to keep by your side day in and day out.
Amazon sells thousands of multitools, ranging from bare-bones options to more advanced models from industry leaders like Gerber, Victorinox, and Leatherman. If you can afford to spring for a pricier model, you’re welcome to. But if you only need something basic, you can find plenty of budget-friendly choices, such as the Oydxtmu 25-in-1 Multitool. It typically costs just $13 at Amazon, and if you purchase one now, you can get your hands on it for only $6, thanks to a limited-time deal that slashes its price by 50%.
Despite being labeled “mini” in its Amazon description, this multitool is a little bigger than you might anticipate, measuring about 4 inches when closed and 6 inches when opened. Its size will make sense once you see how many tools are packed into its design. It features 14 built-in tools, including pliers, shears, screwdrivers, knives, can and bottle openers, and more, along with 11 separate screwdriver bits.
This multitool is also made from durable materials. It’s constructed from anti-corrosive stainless steel, with a comfortable, ergonomic handle to give you a great grip. It even comes with a convenient sheath to help you keep it close by at all times, regardless of whether you’re working out in the yard or camping out in the wilderness.
Some shoppers have praised this multitool for being “surprisingly versatile,” especially considering its incredibly low price. “It’s a compact but capable multitool that makes a great companion for travelers, backpackers, and campers,” one reviewer wrote. “It’s so handy for everyday and outdoor use.”
Others have compared it favorably to multitools manufactured by bigger brands. “It’s just as sturdy as a Leatherman,” another shopper pointed out. “It’s a very handy, well-built tool.”
