Outdoor lighting can make a patio, driveway, garage, yard, or side entrance much more usable and secure after dark. A bright patio or barn-style light can help with grilling, working outside, walking to the garage, unloading groceries, checking on pets, or keeping an eye on a driveway or backyard. It’s also a useful upgrade if you have a detached garage, workshop, shed, barn, or parking area that gets too dark at night. Instead of relying on a small porch light or motion light that doesn’t cover much ground, a larger LED area light can brighten a much wider space.
With this limited-time deal at Walmart, you can get the Ohhani Outdoor LED Patio Light on sale for just $27. It usually costs $46, so this is a solid discount on a bright outdoor LED light with dusk-to-dawn operation. The light is rated at 20,000 lumens and uses 150 LED chips to provide daylight-style illumination for patios, yards, garages, farms, driveways, parking areas, and other outdoor spaces. It also has a built-in photocell sensor, so it can turn on automatically at night and shut off during the day.
Rare DealThe automatic dusk-to-dawn feature is one of the biggest reasons this makes sense for outdoor use. It means you don’t have to remember to flip a switch, and it can keep areas around your garage, patio, or driveway lit more consistently. The adjustable head can move from 0 to 180 degrees, which helps you aim the light toward the area that needs coverage instead of wasting brightness where you don’t need it. It also includes an IP66 waterproof rating, a working temperature range from -13 degrees to 113 degrees Fahrenheit, and a lifespan of more than 50,000 hours.
This is a hardwired light, so it’s not as simple as screwing in a bulb or plugging in a shop light, and anyone who isn’t comfortable with electrical work should have it installed properly. But for $24, it’s a strong option for lighting up a patio, outside garage, driveway, yard, or other dark outdoor area.
One buyer said, “It is a very bright security light that we hung on our garage. I love the fact that it comes on and off by itself, it’s very convenient.”
Another buyer said, “I installed this light thinking that at this size it won’t be as bright or have the same coverage as older bulbs. I was wrong, it’s brighter and with the adjustable head, it has better coverage.”
