The sun might not set until late during the summer, but there are still plenty of hours of backyard enjoyment to be had after night falls. The only way to enjoy them is with proper lighting, and solar lights are the easiest, best way to light up your backyard this summer. Technological advances have pushed prices down, and right now Amazon is upping the ante by putting a great pair of solar lights on sale with a big discount.
A 2-pack of the Nipify Solar Outdoor Lights is on sale for $24 at Amazon, 40% off its normal $40 price tag. This deal is good on the cool white option with a black housing. A cool white option in a white housing is $34, and a warm white option in a black housing is $32. You can also get these lights in single-, 4- and 6-packs, so you can get your entire backyard lit up no matter its size.
40% OffMost solar lights feature a single unit with a solar panel, light, and sometimes a motion detector. This one separates the former with a 16.4-foot cable, allowing you to place it for optimal sunlight collection even if that isn’t where you want the light itself to shine at night. The panel has a high 22% conversion rate that charges an 1,800mAh internal battery, enough capacity for 8 to 10 hours of runtime at night. The panel has convex lenses over each LED that magnify the light, making it more even in the process.
Other premium touches include IP65 waterproof protection (an upgrade over previous versions of this light), an included remote control for each light, and FCC and CE compliance. The light can be tilted 180 degrees and the panel 150 degrees, so you can optimize the performance of this light to your needs. On that same token, the remotes allow you to choose from three modes: off and strong light when motion detected, dim and strong light when motion detected, and 20% brightness for 12 hours.
One shopper called these “bright and well-made” lights the “perfect compact motion-activated solar lights.” They’re “super easy to install and set up” and “the solar panel is well-made and very efficient.”
Another customer loved that these lights are “easy to mount with plenty of wire between the solar panel and the light.” Overall, these lights “meet or exceed expectations.”
