The Milwaukee M12 Fuel Surge Hydraulic Driver was the tool industry’s very first 12-volt hydraulic driver when it was initially released. Since its introduction, several other brands have followed Milwaukee’s lead and launched their own 12V hydraulic drivers. Still, Milwaukee’s model continues to serve as the gold standard among tool enthusiasts.
With this in mind, it wouldn’t be out of the question for Milwaukee to charge top dollar for its game-changing hydraulic driver. However, you can pick one up at Walmart right now for over 30% off its regular price. The retailer usually sells it for $185, but you can purchase one for only $125 at the moment and see what all the hype is about.
So, what sets this Milwaukee hydraulic driver apart from other Milwaukee impact drivers? For starters, it’s about 50% quieter when you’re using it, thanks to its hydraulic oil system. This system is designed to produce fewer vibrations, allowing it to operate more smoothly and deliver much higher driving speeds without all the usual noise.
The benefits of choosing this hydraulic driver over the alternatives don’t end there. Despite being on the smaller side and weighing only about 2 pounds, which lets you work it into tight spaces with ease, it’s outfitted with a brushless motor capable of producing up to 3,000 RPM, making driving fasteners a breeze.
Additionally, this hydraulic driver gives you complete control over power and speed with four distinct modes. Its self-tapping screw mode, in particular, is an excellent option for those looking to avoid overdriving screws or stripping them. Plus, it boasts a built-in LED for enhanced visibility.
“It’s great for working without creating a loud, obstructive atmosphere,” one reviewer wrote. “Its compact size, lightweight design, and Milwaukee dependability also all help make it a top-notch tool.”
Another shopper added, “You get all the power you need with minimal noise. It’s so powerful and quiet compared to other impact drivers.”
