If you’re in the market for a new impact driver and you want to get the best deal possible when buying one, Walmart has a large selection of affordable options from top tool brands at some of the lowest prices we’ve seen as of late. We already told you about the Milwaukee M18 1/4-Inch Hex Impact Driver that’s on sale for under $70, and now, there’s another option from the experts at DeWalt worth considering.
The DeWalt Atomic 20V Max Cordless Impact Driver, which is part of DeWalt’s lineup of super-compact, lightweight power tools, usually sells for $114 at Walmart. However, it’s currently discounted by 30%, bringing its price down to just $80 and making it a worthwhile investment for anyone in need of a reliable impact driver.
Measuring only 5 inches long from front to back and weighing just 2 pounds, this is the smallest impact driver in DeWalt’s Atomic collection. As a result, it doesn’t take up much space, allowing you to work it in and out of tight spaces without a problem. At the same time, it can pack quite the punch in terms of power, thanks to its high-performance brushless motor, which can reach speeds up to 9,200 RPM and deliver up to 1,700 inch-pounds of torque.
This impact driver also offers a slew of solid features that make it more convenient to use than other options. For example, it has not one, not two, but three integrated LED work lights, ensuring you can see what’s going on when you’re using the tool in cramped quarters. It also includes an ergonomic handle and a convenient removable belt hook, both of which make it easier to use for extended periods.
Still, it might ultimately be the impact driver’s toughness that truly sets it apart, as more than a few reviewers have pointed out. “This thing is tough!” one wrote. “It slid off a two-story roof while I was using it one day, and it came apart completely, leaving pieces everywhere. I put it back together, and it still worked.”
“This impact driver is the best,” another shopper wrote. “It offers so much power and agility, and it’s strong enough to handle everything I throw at it. It’s also lightweight enough for me to use all the time and fit in most places. It has quickly become my favorite tool.”
