Milwaukee’s ratchet and socket sets are second to none. From the $77 Milwaukee 25-Piece Ratchet and Socket Set to the $208 Milwaukee 47-Piece Ratchet and Socket Set, the iconic tool brand makes some of the highest-quality sets in the industry. The only minor drawback to choosing a Milwaukee set over one from another company is that they tend to be pricier, unless you can track down a set on sale.
Now’s a great time to buy the Milwaukee 28-Piece Ratchet and Socket Set because Amazon has marked it down by almost 40%. It normally retails for $210, but for a limited time, you can order one for only $129, so you can put a Milwaukee tool set to the test without spending a small fortune.
At the center of this set sits a 90-tooth ratchet with a 4-degree arc swing, making it ideal for tight spaces. It pairs perfectly with the set’s full complement of standard sockets, ranging from 1/4-inch to 1-inch in SAE sizes, and deep sockets, ranging from 1/4-inch to 7/8-inch. Each socket features four flat sides to prevent it from rolling away when you set it down and is clearly stamped with its size for quick and easy identification.
This set also comes neatly packed inside the Milwaukee Packout Compact Low-Profile Organizer, making it an even better value overall. This impact-resistant case can keep all the set’s sockets organized and secure. If you have other Milwaukee Packout products, you can add it to your collection for easy transport and access at a moment’s notice.
“Milwaukee has really stepped its game up,” one reviewer wrote. “I’ve been a DeWalt guy for years, but thanks to sets like this, I’m completely switching to Milwaukee. It’s a little pricey, but you’re paying for the quality it provides. Sets don’t get much better than this.”
“It’s an awesome set,” another reviewer added. “I love that it comes with a Packout case for instant organization.”
