Spring cleaning might get all of the attention, but the end of summer is just as good a time to clean and organize. A new outdoor shed is a great place to store all of the grilling equipment, pool toys, and other summer gear until you need it next year, freeing up loads of space in your garage or basement in the process. Right now, Walmart has a solid steel shed on sale with a sizable discount.
The Lzbeitem 8-Foot by 6-Foot Outdoor Storage Shed is on sale for $300 at Walmart, 40% off its normal $500 price tag. It comes in a single color, gray, that’s neutral enough to blend into any backyard. It also comes with a few features and accessories that aren’t terribly common for sheds of this type, making this deal even better than it seems.
40% OffPros
- Window looks nice and lets in natural light to make items easier to find
- Sturdy and durable galvanized steel construction
- Comes with a padlock and ground nails for secure operation and installation
Cons
- No floor included
This shed is made of galvanized steel. The steel provides plenty of structural stability while the zinc coating makes it rustproof and resistant to damage from rain, sun, and snow. The window, a feature we almost never see in sheds at this price point, is big enough to let in plenty of natural light, obviating the need for a dedicated shed light if you’re going to be using it during daylight hours.
The pitched roof keeps water from pooling and snow from accumulating while the included ground nails secure the shed to the ground. A quartet of vents on the front and back of the shed allow for air to circulate and humidity to escape, protecting the contents from moisture damage. Protecting them from thieves is a lockable door that fits the included padlock, another rare inclusion for a shed in this class.
