A larger backyard shed can make a big difference when outdoor gear starts taking over the garage, patio, porch, or side yard. Lawn mowers, electric bikes, patio cushions, gardening tools, trash bins, pool toys, and seasonal equipment all need somewhere to go, especially as summer winds down and fall cleanup gets closer. Instead of leaving everything exposed or cramming it into the garage, a nice outdoor storage shed gives bulky items a dedicated spot to stay.
Right now, the Lofka 8-Foot by 12-Foot Outdoor Storage Shed is on sale at Walmart for $280, almost 60% off its normal $660 price. Even with the $80 shipping fee, it’s still more than 40% off, making it a no-brainer pickup heading into the end of summer. It measures 141.5 inches deep, 94.3 inches wide, and 76.2 inches high, giving it enough space for larger yard tools, lawn equipment, outdoor furniture, bikes, and general backyard essentials. That makes it a solid option for homeowners who need more storage but don’t want to build a permanent structure.
The shed is made from heavy-duty galvanized steel to help resist rust and corrosion, with a UV-protected coating to help reduce sun damage. The sloped roof is designed to prevent water from pooling, which is useful heading into rainy fall weather and winter snow. Four vent windows help promote airflow inside the shed, reducing the risk of moisture buildup and musty odors getting into your stored gear.
The lockable double doors open wide for easier loading and unloading, and the listing says a lock is included. Pre-drilled, numbered parts and step-by-step instructions are meant to make assembly more manageable, though two-person setup is recommended per the manufacturer. For storing lawn mowers, bikes, patio gear, gardening tools, trash bins, and seasonal equipment, this is a roomy metal shed at a great price.
