Solar lights are a simple way to light up a scary corner of your backyard or ensure your entertaining space is usable even after the sun goes down. There are tons of different options, from street lights to step lights to shed lights, but the best deal we’ve found today is on a pair of flood lights.
A pair of the Kooper Solar Flood Lights is on sale for $20 at Amazon, 50% off its normal $40 price tag. For just $10 a light, you get a powerful, easy-to-install solution for an underlit yard. It’s a great choice whether you’re looking to add security, entertainment, or both to your outdoor spaces.
Each of these solar lights has a solar panel mounted to the top and a trio of independently adjustable LED panels, each with 70 high-quality LEDs, that can uniformly light up a 300-degree field. They’re uniquely adjustable, with 135 degrees of tilt, that allows you to shine the light precisely where you want to. The middle panel is slightly larger in order to fit a motion detector that can flip the light on automatically, hopefully scaring away unwanted visitors of all sorts. The high-efficiency solar panel charges in 6 to 8 hours and can power the light for 10 to 14 hours. It’s IP65 waterproof and offers three different lighting modes, so there’s one to suit your needs.
These lights are the number one new product in the category on Amazon, and the early reviews are very positive. “These are the best solar lights,” one shopper wrote. “I have bought other brands that were good, but I like these more.”
Another customer called these lights “extremely bright” and “easy to install with just a couple of screws in a solid surface.” Plus, “the motion detector picks up actual movement, not just small leaves floating around.”
