There’s no shortage of solar lights designed to shine down from above, but there are also some useful, stylish options designed to light your way nearer to ground level. If your staircase, fenceposts, sidewalk, or driveway could use some more light, Walmart has a great option on sale for more than 40% off.
A four-pack of the AShip Solar Step Lights is on sale for $16 at Walmart, 41% off its normal $27 price tag. You can get an even better value, $3 per light instead of $4, if you opt for the 12-pack that’s on sale for $36. No matter how many you need, you’ll be getting some easy to install, incredibly stylish lights built to stand up to the elements.
41% OffEach of these lights is small, just 4.2 inches on each side and 1.2 inches tall, so they’re fairly unobtrusive no matter where you place them. On the top of this compact package you’ll find a 4.5V solar panel that charges the 600 mAh battery inside. The bulb puts out 3000K warm light for the kind of soft glow you want from a light like this. The whole thing is housed in an aluminium frame that’s IP65 waterproof and strong enough to hold up to 3 tons of pressure, so they’ll survive even if you drive over them. These lights charge in just 4.5 hours and last 20 hours, and they’re set up to automatically turn on at night and charge during the day. Installable with screws or adhesives, these are as simple, stylish, and sturdy as solar lights get.
“The solar lights are absolutely amazing,” one shopper wrote. They added that these lights are “a great addition to my walkway, adding extra lighting and making me feel safer when I come home.”
Another customer agreed that they are “very pleased with the quality” of these lights, which are “very well built and seem like they’ll hold up over a long period of time.” Each light comes with an “easy to install” mounting kit and they “work great to light up a walkway or a dock.”
