If you need a tool set for work and plan to use it every day, a “professional quality” set from a trusted name like DeWalt might be your best bet. However, if you’re shopping for a tool set for your house and only plan to pull it out every so often, Walmart might have a better budget-friendly option for you.
The Jellas 242-Piece Tool Set is currently on sale for over 50% off. It usually retails for $90, but, Walmart is selling it for only $40 right now.
56% OffEvery tool in this collection is constructed from high-quality steel with a polished chrome finish, providing it with plenty of strength and durability while protecting it from corrosion and other wear and tear. These tools are also well-organized, packaged in a sturdy plastic case that measures about 17 inches long, 9 inches wide, and 3 inches deep, and weighs just 9 pounds, making them easy to carry around.
But ultimately, it’s the sheer size of this tool set that makes it such a fantastic value at this incredibly low price. Featuring nearly 250 pieces, it’s equipped with a claw hammer, an adjustable wrench, multiple screwdrivers and bits, combination and long-nose pliers, a ratcheting wrench with drive sockets, hex and Torx keys, a tape measure, and so much more. This has turned it into the perfect tool set for tackling many household tasks.
“I was concerned that this set of tools would be of poor quality due to its affordable price, but I was pleasantly surprised,” one reviewer wrote. “It has served me well for a variety of projects, including car exterior enhancements, engine maintenance, home repairs, and hobby tasks.”
Some shoppers also suggest this tool set would make an excellent gift idea, especially with the holiday season right around the corner. “It’s an exquisite gift for DIYers,” one wrote. “My mother wanted a tool box with tools [to help her make] household fixes, and she was ecstatic to find that everything is neatly organized within a compact case with this one.”
