A well-trimmed hedge might feel like the province of a palatial estate or well-funded botanic garden, but it’s not all that difficult to keep your own hedges perfectly shaped. All you need is a powerful, precise hedge trimmer like this DeWalt model that’s just had its price trimmed down.
The DeWalt Hedge Trimmer is on sale for $152 at Walmart, 31% off its normal $221 price tag. This deal is for the bare tool only, but it is compatible with the same DeWalt 20V Max batteries that power more than 300 other DeWalt tools, some of which might already have a home in your workshop.
Rare DealThis trimmer has a high-output motor and laser-cut, hardened steel hooked-tooth blades that cut on both of their 22-inch sides. Together, they are powerful enough to put out 2,800 strokes per minute and slice branches up to 3/4 of an inch thick. That’s even more remarkable when you consider that this tool weighs just 7.5 pounds, maximizing maneuverability and saving your arms from tiring quickly. And speaking of ease of use, a lightweight cordless trimmer is quieter and cleaner than gas-powered options and way less awkward to use than corded models that require a huge extension cord that’s easy to slice through on accident.
One shopper wrote that they “love” this tool because “it’s light and makes it easy to trim the hedges.”
Other customers raved about this “easy, portable” and “lifesaver” of a trimmer that’s “so much better than dealing with the electric cord always getting in the way and coming unplugged.” They also loved its “solid, rugged construction” and “well balanced and lightweight” feel.
