A portable power station is one of those products that makes sense for a lot more than camping. It can be useful during power outages, hurricane season, RV trips, tailgates, garage projects, backyard work, and jobs where the nearest outlet is too far away. A larger unit can also handle more demanding devices than a small power bank, giving you backup power for appliances, tools, electronics, lights, fans, and other essentials. That makes it a smart thing to have ready before storms, summer travel, or weekend projects to put your power setup to the test.

As part of Walmart’s Summer Deals sale, the EcoFlow Delta 3 Portable Power Station is down to $399 from its usual $699 price, but this deal won’t last long. That’s a big discount on a portable power station from one of the top names in the category. It delivers 1,800W of continuous pure sine wave output and can support up to 2,600W with X-Boost technology, giving it enough power for higher-demand items like refrigerators, microwaves, and power tools. It also has LiFePO4 battery cells, a smart battery management system, and EcoFlow app control (available from the App Store and Google Play).

The fast charging is one of the most useful features here. EcoFlow says the Delta 3 can charge from 0% to 80% in just 45 minutes with AC charging, which is a big advantage when you need backup power quickly. It also supports solar charging with an optional solar panel (sold separately), and the UPS feature can switch to battery power in less than 10 milliseconds to help protect sensitive electronics from downtime.

This isn’t the smallest or cheapest power station you can buy, but that’s the point. For home backup, camping, garage work, off-grid projects, and running more demanding gear than a compact battery can handle, this EcoFlow deal is a solid pickup at $399.

“This little power bank does the job. It powers everything we need it to and more. Don’t let the small size fool you.”

“Brilliant backup power solution,” said another shopper. “The generator exceeds all expectations. Surprisingly lightweight and easy to move from room to room.”
