The best part about this lantern is that it can be powered in four different ways. It can be powered by three triple A batteries (not included), plugged into the included AC adaptor, or by using the hand crank or solar panel to charge the included 1200mAh rechargeable battery. Each minute of cranking delivers 20 minutes of light and it takes six hours to be fully charged via solar power. The lighting offers three brightness modes — high, medium, and low — that are powered by 36 LED bulbs that can last up to 100,000 hours before burning out or needing a replacement.
“Perfect for emergencies or camping,” wrote one reviewer. “Unlike the older lanterns that used incandescent bulbs, the LED bulbs stay cool, which can be an important feature when used in hot weather or around children who might bump into the lantern. The light emitted by the LEDs is bright white.”
A second shopper said, “This lantern is amazing! It’s easy to charge with the hand crank and it’s very bright. It’s very light, durable, and easy to use. Perfect for power outages.”
The device measures 5.25 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 10 inches high, so it’s compact enough to take with you on any type of outdoor excursion. It features a USB charging port that is compatible with phones, tablets, and other small electronic devices. Plus, if you’re on the go, you can use the lantern’s carrying handle or hook to hang it from a camping tent or wall.
“Amazing,” wrote a third customer. “Loved it! Literally the best battery life and I did not turn it off for three days.”
Add this $20 solar-powered lantern to your cart ASAP before the limited-time deal ends. Trust us, you’ll use it in more ways than one.
