Anyone who spends any time working on cars, whether for a living or for fun, needs to have easy access to a wide range of different types of screwdrivers. However, walking around with an entire set of screwdrivers all the time is obviously out of the question, since they will weigh down your tool box and prevent you from carrying other tools. Buying a bit set that includes all the bits you need to tackle auto repairs and maintenance is a much smarter idea.
The DeWalt 37-Piece Screwdriver Bit Set is available for the low, everyday price of just $28 at Amazon, and it will be an excellent addition to your existing tool collection. It can provide all the necessary bits, along with a few extras that will also come in handy when you’re hard at work.
Audience FavoriteThis DeWalt bit set features an assortment of Phillips, slotted, and square screwdriver bits, including 32 standard 1-inch bits and a pair of 2-inch power bits. Each one is made out of hardened steel that has been heat-treated to give it a longer lifespan, and all of the bits can be used with almost any drill/drivers, whether they’re from DeWalt or not.
This set also comes with a couple of magnetic nut drivers and a magnetic drive guide designed to hold screws straight and prevent them from accidentally falling to the ground while you’re driving them in. Plus, the set is packaged in one of DeWalt’s signature ToughCases, which provides the protection the bits need when they’re not in use. The case is also built to help you keep the bits better organized.
You’re welcome to put the bits in this set to good use around the house if you’d like. But as many reviewers have pointed out, they’re especially useful for those tinkering with vehicles.
“It’s a really amazing set,” one reviewer wrote. “It’s great for working on cars and trucks.”
“If you work in auto repair or you’re a handyman, these bits will come in handy,” another reviewer remarked. “The set offers such a complete selection.”
