DeWalt doesn’t usually color-code the bits included in its various drilling and driving bit sets. Instead, it typically includes laser-etched size stamps on these bits, making them fairly easy to identify at a glance.
One of the few exceptions to this is the DeWalt 32-Piece Screwdriver Bit Set. When you pick up its case for the first time to check out its bits, you will notice that they’re color-coded by type, ensuring you won’t have any trouble tracking down the ones you’re looking for as you work. You can buy this set for the low everyday price of $29 at Amazon and enjoy having some of your most-used bits color-coded from the start.
Audience FavoriteIt’s a good thing that this set’s bits are color-coded, too, because there isn’t any shortage of them. While most of DeWalt’s other bit sets only include Phillips, slotted, square, and Torx bits, this one has those four types of bits, as well as other options, such as Pozidriv, or Pozi, bits, hex bits, and security Torx bits. It also comes with a bit holder, a socket adapter, and a case with a belt clip that you can wear as you work to prevent its bits from getting lost in the shuffle.
Still, it’s the color-coding that should make all the difference in the world for most people who settle on this bit set. You can sneak a peek at all the bits through the set’s clear case and see that all of its slotted bits are red, while all of its Pozi bits are blue. It makes us wish DeWalt would take the same color-coded approach to some of its other bit sets.
“I like everything about this bit set,” one reviewer wrote. “It’s color-coded, and it’s compact and easy to carry.”
Another shopper suggested it’s a great bit set for anyone who works on cars for a living. “I work for a well-known car manufacturer, and this kit always comes in handy,” they wrote. “It offers quality, it’s easy to use, and it’s professional-grade.”
